Parent-Child Relationship Tips
Taking care of children can really be a task, but finding simple ways to bond with your child for the betterment of the child as well as yourself can make raising them, become a joy! Sometimes, depending on the parents' upbringing, it is assumed that children will function with the same tools and thrive onto adulthood. But, this is not always the case.
In fact, studies have shown that in most cases children are their own people and they need parenting that is tailored toward their individual needs. As parents remain unaware of this truth, such as how I was, we begin to enforce a rigidity of rules that can cause tension and damage toward the bonding relation.
Relationships with our children will never be perfect. But, there are things we can do to decrease the disconnects, discord, and damage that we don't have to accept. Here, I discuss ways to fix or prevent damage from occurring in certain areas. I use the parental approach of finding ways parents can become more "kid-conscious" instead of going about things only in the ways best suitable to them.
